Hello All,

I have a 2007 FJ Cruiser and was originally looking at just replacing my muffler with a Magnaflow. I've been reading about the Magnaflow Catback and was thinking about going with this instead of just the muffler. I talked to some local shops in town and one of them said that I really only need the muffler and that the catback would not really be needed.

Is this right? Or will the catback be more beneficial than I was told? I'm looking at either $350 (muffler only installed) or $800 (catback installed) to have it done here. The price is not a problem I just want to make sure I'm getting something for the extra money.

If anyone can shed some light on this for me that would be great.

Thanks,
Beso.

I think they seen you coming?
You can get the JBA cat-back with the Magnaflow muffler for about $250. Install takes less than 20 minuets and one wrench.

I like the Flowmaster Super 44. I checked Magnaflow, JBA and Borla but the Flowmaster sounded the best. Full exhaust + Catback = $350 installed

The only time I find the Magnaflow loud is when you floor it. It's nat that bad during normal driving.
