Hey, everybody...I'm looking at trading in my brand new 2007 Dodge Nitro for a 2008 FJ...I wish I would have seen this vehicle before I bough the Nitro. Anyway, quick quesition...what's the biggest BFG A/T tire can I put on w/o doing the front end lift? With the front end lift?

Thanks,
Tim

I'm not sure, but I know if you search tires on the forum search you will get a bunch of pages worth of results.

I used to be a Nitro fan as well, but the FJ has won my heart.

33x11.5...or if you do aftermarket 8"wheels instead of the factory 7.7" wide wheels you can do a 33" tall 12.5" wide

this may require a little trimming but its nothing you cant handle

it also depends on what you do to the front end...bumpers etc...they are metal not the factory crap plastic so they will weight you down and you might not be able to do 33's

for lifts i would recommends the Old Man Emu thats a full strut/shock and spring replacement kit that i have seen people running stock 31's all the way up to 37's on(only one person on 37's that i know of)...feel free to chime in here ryan

mostly i am going to run 33's but 35s wont kill you

I'll be honest...not really sure how much "offroading" I will really be doing. So, are those front spacers worth a sh!t?
