I just put my deposit down on my 2008 FJ!!!! got a black diamond with the convenience and upgrade package 2, rubber floor mats and roof rack. $27500. best deal ive seen around my area!!! cant wait to get it off road!!!!

Welcome. I also have a black one. One word of advice...wax it before you take it wheeling. Unless you pay for the extremely expensive paint protection program (wax) they come unwaxed, and scratch extremely easy.

Ok thanks for the advice!! what kind of wax do you suggest? i had a black chevy truck before this, and just used the rub on kind, but wasnt sure if a wash on kind was better or worse. any other info you could give me would help!!! thanks, and im glad to be apart of the fjowners website!!!

Real carnuba wax is best. The wash on kind is a bit of a gimmick. It's ok for inbetween wax jobs, but I wouldn't rely on it for a protective coat.
I use Mother's.
