Subject: Re:mice in cabin - by: crb05d a cat will fix it, although my cat likes cheese... Subject: Re:HELLO - by: FJFan welcome!... Subject: Re:Buying OEM TRD Parts - by: BoldAsLove I went to my Toyota dealership inquiring about the same thing.
At least in Canada, TRD is considered separate from the dealerships and they do not stock TRD parts.
Checking with the parts guy, he brought it up on his computer that he only had 6 or 7 TRD parts available for ordering for the entire Toyota fleet.
Sorry, but hope that answers your question.... Subject: Re:mice in cabin - by: mjb I might have the problem fixed but am not totally sure. With great difficulty, I covered the fresh air intake with stainless hardware cloth. I also plugged the hole in the rear left quarter that allows air out (and mice in) I did this in my 4Runner and it was not enough. I also had to glue screen over every hole in the chassis and eventually had no mice in the car. I have not done this on the Cruiser yet and did catch one mouse in it but it may have jumped in when a door was open for a minute at night or it... Subject: Re:mice in cabin - by: grumpybiker I feel your pain! I just posted a story like yours. I had a mouse move in my FJ in the fall. After an hour of crawling around under my truck on my creeper I found no holes in the body. When I pulled my cabin filter I found mouse crap and a urine stain on it, and one corner was pulled up from the plastic frame. I have since closed the re-circ. vent when I park the truck. I find that the vent is open sometimes when I start the truck in the morning(depends on the temp), but I have not found any more mice. I wo... Subject: Re:outside air ducts keep openning - by: grumpybiker I have the same problem. I have tried the instructions in the manual and it works while driving, but my problem is when I park the truck. When I start the truck the vent is open again(depending on the temp). My problem was the field mouse the moved in in the fall and made a nest out of my sound insulation, pissed and crapped every where, and drove me out of my mind for 2 weeks before I cought him(4 different kinds of traps!). Oh yea, if you haven't looked in your jack compartment in a while, you might want t... Subject: Re:outside air ducts keep openning - by: grumpybiker I have the same problem. There's a guy in Alberta, Canada with a wrecked FJ that he's parting out. It's 4x4 TOYS at 4xtoys@telus.net. Hope that helps.
That would be good but what I need has to either fit just over the tubing or just inside the ID. Same size doesn't help. I'm trying to make a spring loaded extension so you can slide the upper divider all the way to the front....
