Rather than a separate coil like in the old days, each spark plug has an individual coil mounted on top. Simply loosen and remove the 2 bolts holding the coil down and pull it out. There will be a tube connected to the bottom of it that slides over and around the plug.Install the plug with a little anti-sieze on the threads and torque to spec.Re-install the coil being sure not to over tighten or you'll break the plastic. I don't have any experience with the E3's, but I do know that the Denso Iridiums are great.I too run the TRD cold air kit, a 1" throttle body spacer and Mobile 1 and consistently get 18-19MPG avaerage.I just put Mobil 1 gear oil in the rear end. We'll see if that makes any improvement.
