has anyone tried taking off the silver sides on the bumper? if so any pictures?? thanks guys! P.S my A-TRAC works!

I've taken mine off by accident. Here's a pic of what they look like when missing. They are hollow, and provide no protection whatsoever.

They come off easy when your stuck in the mud and a rope rubs against them. and the mounting tabs bend really easy too! Then you have to bend the tabs back to try and get them to fit again, and they do, but not exactly the same as before.... I guess that's sort of a mod, yea, that makes me feel better...

do you have a lift? or is that the tires? that looks so much better then the silver things.. I was thinking of taking the silver tabs off until i get a road armor bumper

Ya, I have a 3" OME lift, and those are 37" tires.
