I was thinking of adding a light bar with lights to my FJ to improve look and style. Is there anyone out there with one already installed or any advice on which brands to get or stay away from. if at all.

Check out All-Pro's Airdam lightbar. The FJ Airdam bolts right on to your Toyota OEM rack and comes powder coated black. They have allot of options depending on the type of lights you want. Not the cheapest setup but It's worth the money. IMO

Thanks..though they are a little out of my price range.I really like the air dam though. I think I might try out this one. http://www.fjcruiseraccessory.com/sds-lightbar-pkg.html even without the lights looks like it will still look great. and I can change the lights any time.

I saw one on ebay that connects to the stock FJ rack. They had the bar for about $120 and I think you could get it with 4 lamps for $250. I would be really interested in one if you could wire the on/off to work with a stock console switch. You know the ones next to the back up alarm or subwoffer. Let me know if you get something and how you like it.

After my post I clicked on your link and that was the same one I saw on ebay. If you get it let me know how you like it. I wonder if you can get an on/off switch say.....like the one for the subwoffer or the power outlet and adapt it to work with the lights?
