I recently heard of a guy that added the Cruise. All he had to do was buy the lever to turn it on, and a small wiring harness. All the programming is already in the computer.
I haven't done anything about the cruise on my truck lately, as I have been buying other fun stuff for it.

Thanks for the reply. You wouldn't happen to know where he got the lever and harness would you? After I read your post, I went and looked at my steering column. The cruise will locate in the same place as the scion tC I had prior to the FJ. I had not looked for it before, assuming that it mounted on the steering wheel.

This is not my first 4x4. I owned an 80' CJ7 that was built for crawling around in Moab. It had lockers front and rear, a tera low kit in the t-case, currie twin sticks, and many other mods.

I am just not too familiar with the newer stuff. This site is great. It is good to be able to get info from others.

Thanks

I believe he just got it from the parts dept. at Toyota. I priced the lever at just over $120 Canadian. Don't know about the harness. It will be a bolt-in job, though.

I found the instructions on the web to do this. I have ordered the switch (about $90.00 US) and I have ordered the wiring harness too (about $35.00 US). When it comes in I will give it a try and post the results.
