Ryan, having read many of your posts and finding that you know what you're talking about when it comes to an FJ, i can only assume now that you are a special needs teacher in reality. You've got a lot more patience than i do when it comes to dealing with someone who obviously knows more than anyone else and yet still asks for help....This thread has only secured my commitment to the Fraternal Order of Police in Daytona.....

I have to Agree Ryan, You do have a lot of patience. A lot more than some people deserve on this sight. I mean, if people are complaining and cursing about the day time running lights, whats next? Complaints that they FJ drives like a 4x4 and not a Cadillac. Then go buy a cadillac. Personally, I dont see the problems with the daytime running lights. And if cops are pulling you over for not having your lights on at night, becuase someone is just too lazy to flick the switch and turn them on... (instead of assuming that the daytime running lights are just on and not the actual headlights... ) welll that just sucks for them. I have made the same mistake, but i figure it out when its dark pretty quick. Camera man, you must live next to a police station, to get pulled over so quickly, or whatever.

In conclusion, Thank you ryan for your wisdom and advice with all of our FJs. It is very much appriciated.

I never said I was "Classy" I just like to get my point across succinctly.

But thanks for the compliment.

As if you are inferring I am a criminal or something? Watch your tone dude. I'm a tax-paying, home owning citizen of good standing with no tickets on my record since 1998. Not bad for someone who occasionally gets fooled by his DRL's eh?

Well guys, I guess you're just lucky. I'd rather be less stupid and turn the DRLs off and decide when I want them on. It's still a free country last I checked & besides, DRL's are not Florida law (at least not yet) so we'll just have to wait & see what the socialists do next!

Long live the republic!

Thank you by the way for this information and the picture posts. This will help many other members who share my sentiments about the DRLs on this site. Your original link did not work on my Macintosh for whatever reason.
