trying to get a consensus for real world driving MPG. Can you post if you have a 4x4 auto or manual or 4x2 and the average MPG.

I also have an auto 4x4 and am getting 18.1 ,havent done the highway driving yet so I dont know the upper number is yet.

4X4 auto - So far around 18.2 mostly around town and expressways. As the Brits would say... I'm still 'running in'

Now that my FJ has some milage on it and has been on long trips I have been avg 22 on the highway. I actually was kinda surprised but I only run premium gas and its a auto 4X4.I think the 5 speed auto helps a little having a extra gear. one other thing is use your cruise control as much as possile that will help your gas milage because it maintains a steady speed and RPM's.
