Teejeaux wrote: Everybody says "weld this, weld that"... That's a problem for me, as I don't know how to weld, I don't have a welder, and I don't know anyone that DOES! I'm a computer guy, I can build the hell out of a computer, figure out why packets won't route through a network, and design one hell of an Active Directory. But welding, that's beyond my current skillset.. I'm the opposite. I'm lucky if my computer just turns on! Too bad I'm so far away. As for the computer stuff...I noticed that FJeologist made a link with just a word. Any info on how to do that would be great.

The link thing is pretty easy. For example, if I wanted to link you to the LSUSports site you'd do it like the above. But a better link would be this one, because it explains what I just did.
Basically, you put a left square bracket, the command url=http://whatever.com, close the bracket, then put the word you want to show. Then you put another left square bracket, "/url" (without the quotes), and then close that bracket. That's it. It's sorta like html, but it's called board-code.

Yep, that's it. Here's my exact technique: copy the link (http://www.misternicehands.com) to your clipboard, then select the word or words in your message text that you want to be the blue link (Pull My Finger!), then click the blue URL button at the right end of the line of blue buttons above where you're typing, then where you see (url), type an = after url and paste your link (http://www.misternicehands.com) so it looks like (url=http://www.misternicehands.com)Pull My Finger!(/url). If done correctly, it will look and work like this: Pull My Finger!
BTW, I used ( and ) instead of [ and ] so that my explanation wouldn't turn into a linked mess. YOU need to use [ and ].

It's amazing how the Fabricators and Coders can help each other out! Now if we could only make a virtual weld a reality... life would be good.
