The Old Man Emu lift is one of the only lifts available for the FJ that actually DO something for the suspension. If you only drive on the street, and want the look of a lifted truck, a spacer lift will work fine. If you plan to actually wheel the truck, you need a lift like this. I think Allpro has a similar lift that actually improves travel. I'd be interested in the final price of the OME lift.

The OME lift is done! The kit cost $695 from Man-A-Fre, and shipping was about $70. I had LandcruisersNW install it for me, $225.00 (They also did an awesome job welding my headers to the pre-cat and installing them as well.) My FJ doesn't look much higher, (2 1/2-3") but it feels it when your sitting in the drivers seat. It handles as good if not better than stock, and corners well with no body roll. I think it takes bumps smoother as well. Rims and tires are next. Check "under the hood/performance" for pics of the JBA headers.

Looks nice - how long did it take to install them?
