Twinkie, I hear what you are saying but it still does'nt make any sense .... the electric load has a whole different system, even though it gets its power from the engine, I've never heard it affecting gas consumption. Maybe it was a type-o!!

Does anyone know what the lamp's life expectancy would be - with & without the DRLs on? I've never had a headlight burn out on me with any of the cars I've owned for 3-5 years.

It was a joke guys!
As it disabled a safety feature I didn't want to say disable it just cause you would like to. So I gave a BS reason...
So go disable the d*mn thing already!
But you didn't hear it from me. . .at least if the insurance people get involved.
