Don't forget that the O.M.E. subwoofer has it's own internal amplifier.The factory system is more than adequate in my opinion, but if you upgrade your speakers,I would reccomend adding an out board amplifier.I'm using a JL Audio 4-channel,2 channels driving 6x9's in the front,and the other 2 channels bridged(mono)feeding the subwoofer.The power in the stock head unit is more than enough for the dash and rear pillar speakers.
