I feel very stupid (actually I am stu...) that I made a dent in the roof (towards the back of the roof) as I stood up there to load some stuff in the roof rack. Does any one know the best way to fix this dent? I tried to level it by thumping it from inside and it worked little bit but I do not want mess it up. Or should I take this to the autobody shop?

You were walkin around on your roof??? Hmmm, well depending on how bad the dent is, and what shape (if it has a crease, or is it like a depression) you can try pouring some boiling water on the dented area, and getting it good and hot (DON'T USE A TORCH/FLAME! dont' take it the wrong way now, but you did say you were walkin on the roof )) After the area is nice and warm, put some dry ice on it. What you are doing here is the same thing that happens when you put ice in a hot glass, the thermal change/shock will cause the metal to contract, popping back in place, depending on the depth/shape and if the metal has crystalized in that shape. If metal has been dented or deformed for a period of time, the structure of the metal will kinda stay that way. I would try the hot water/dry ice method (you should be able to get some dry ice froma semi-large grocery store, call around. Worst case you can use a CO2 fire exstinguisher). I would try that, since it won't cost ya much and you can't do anymore damage! Good luck
