Has anyone replaced their rear tail light bulbs? I am wondering how much of a pain it is to get behind the sub, how do you detach it? I haven't really looked at it but I wanted to get someones take first.

It's actually quite easy. You'll need to pull off the bottom cover below the sub, it just pops off. Pull the cover off of the sub itself. You'll need a 10mm socket with a long extension to get to the bolts that hold the sub to the wall. Remove those two, remove the two on the bottom, and unplug the sub. You're done. Reaching the lights is pretty easy, but it's a pain in the butt to actually remove the lighting assembly. If you need to do that you'll need a 10mm deep socket, a 10 mm ratcheting closed ended wrench, and lots of patience.

PM me if you have any questions.

Teejeaux,

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction, I often learned the hard way on my old Taco. I only need to replace the bulbs (LEDs) and not the assembly.
