I was browsing online today and found this update for the 2008 FJSummit at

http://www.fjsummit.org/index.htm

I think it would be great to organize a group of members from fjcruiserowners to caravan out to Ouray for the summit. Check your calendars and lets see what kind of buzz we can create.

According to the site there is a lot of options for accommodation's. I have never been there before so any experienced members that could help with weather info and options for camping and other lodging feel free to post up.

I would like to attend the Summit, but Colorado is just too far to go from the east coast, we should have a Summit in the Mid-Atlantic.

I agree, perhaps they should look at having multiple "summit" get togethers. I live in Indiana and would love to spend more time riding trails than paved highway.
There has to be somewhere to meet up, with the Smokey, Appalachian mountain ranges, Pennsylvania and upstate New York, there has to be someplace that can handle that type of action. Right?

I think having a summit would be a great way to capture the FJ experience. I bet you could even get Toyota to sponsor, and maybe other companies to come out and show some stuff. It could be an all around expeirence.
