I recently bought the Trail Team edition FJ that as you all know has a Cyclone air cleaner. My problem is that I bought TRD Cold Air Intake and had a toyota service dept put it on. When they put on the CAI they pull off the Cyclone air cleaner. Is that correct? Why can't if have both? Thanks.

My understanding is that with an aftermarket air cleaner there is no need for the Cyclone. Did you ask the dealer when they did the swap? What was there comment?

I went with the K&N 63-9030 AirCharger, although it is not a true C.A.I. It sounds great, and was an easy install. Cost was $250.00

Got the True flow on Sounds Fantastic!. Intall was easy but to use the plastic engine cover you do need to trim a small amount of plastic
Running at 120K/h I have dropped the RPM by about 500 in sixth gear. Kinda nice hopefully it will save some gas. Ill post results after my next tank of gas.
