It isn't much! I replaced the speakers in my FJ, and put in a decent AMP to drive all the speakers, then mounted a 300watt single channel amp behind the rear hatch liner. I replaced the factory sub with a JBL sub from crutchfield, now with my AVIC-Z1, I have to keep the sub level on 0, or else it rattles the mirrors (outside and rear view) and the system sounds sweet!

Im running two MTX 10"s in a vented box. They are powered by one 500watt amp whose power is supplied by one 4gauge power wire and grounded just next to the amp. As I have may other powered accessories on my FJ, I opted to run an auxiliary fuse panel. I started with a 175amp fuse mounted on the driver side fender well, I then routed a 4 Gauge wire along the firewall with the stock wiring (I just replaced the plastic wire cover with a larger diameter one and modified the mounting hardware to accept normal zip ties) I got myself a waterproof fuse block from my local marine supply store and I use that for all my aux. power needs; window latch release relay, gps, interior lights and of course my sub amp. The aux. fuse block is mounted on the passenger fender well, as i have removed the factory air box and replaced it with a K&N style filter. So anyway to get down to it, a 4gauge wire was an east run from the aux. block through an empty rubber grommet in the firewall, behind the passenger kick pannel, and down the door sill cover, behind the rear seat and through the trunk plastics to my amp.
