I'm thinking about lifting the truck. The FJ on the roughcountry site looks amazing. Here is my question... Do any of you use this set up? Driving mostly highway at speeds 130+ km/h do you find the truck tippy?

I have yet to see, or hear of someone who has installed the 6" lift. I've only seen company ones. Keep in mind, anything over 3" and you have to cut some of the frame crossmembers. Something I'd stay away from if you wanted to keep your warentee.

I have the RC 6" lift and am enjoying it very much. I installed it myself and had a few minor snags like not having 1 tool and clearing a piece for the A-trac box in the fron but other then that the install went smooth. We drive it almost everday between myself and the wife and it drives great @ interstate speeds. I installed 35" Hankooks and on 17" Motos 955. It makes hardly any road noise and I have no issues with tire rubbing when turning so i didn't have to cut anything.... And the RC kit requires NO CUTTING OF THE CROSSMEMBERS like the rest of the 6" kits, its completly bolt on!

I just recently heard of the no cutting of crossmember 6" lifts. How do you get around the front pinion/driveshaft angle and that crossmember? Did you measure before and after heights? Is it a TRUE 6"?
PS...fixed your pic for ya.

It gets lowered like 2" instead of the 4 you'd get with cutting your frame. the angle of the shafts are there but not to the point of binding at full articulation. I did measure id before and mine is more then 6" ...like 6 1/2" but I'm sure that will settle down to the 6 after a while of flexing. I clear 35" Hankooks Dynapro's without even cutting the body mounts...both ways. Thanks for fixing the pic. I tried but eventually gave up...
