Heard someone mention this a while ago. Anyone fitted them on their FJ? I have an 08 and would be interested in your opinions on what they're like.
Thanks,

What will the extra HP do for you? This is the quetsion you have to ask yourself. I can spank most trucks out there! Say you are in a situation where (you will probably get 30 true hp out of the headers) the extra HP will solve it, well you are a good driver. DONT MESS WITH YOUR FJ! 2008 FJ w/all the fixens "There is NO need to lift"

For some owners, you may have a point, but I've always thought that header and exhaust modifications are good ones to make. It always seems a sensible modification to reduce pumping losses. I'd rather the power to be used to move the car forward as opposed to pushing the exhaust out. If nothing else, it's better fuel economy. I've never been in favor of modifying stock engines with turbos and super chargers, stuff that stresses them. But, that's just my opinion.
I certainly won't be racing other trucks. Too old for that messing about!

Carl B wrote: DONT MESS WITH YOUR FJ! Also, who wants to drive the same truck as everyone else? I like modifications. You should see the other vehicles I have here. For example, my Toyota 4Runner has the front IFS cut out, and a solid axle mounted in place. I have rear leafs up front, and Chevy leafs in the rear. I have a Ford 5.0L V-8 engine in it, with a Chevy alternator. I have Suzuki spring bushings in the Toyota leafs. I have Chevy 1 ton Dana 60 front axle, and a 1 ton Chevy 14 bolt rear axle. I have Hummer H1 beadlock rims.
I just can't leave things alone....
