You say the AFE has the best torque - that's great. It's the rumble that I'm curious about. I don't know if you've heard the TRD or Airaid, but if you have can you rate them by sound level?
I have a 4WD Auto that is getting low 20's for mileage and I'm loving that - how much has your Cold Air Intake benefitted or cost you on the mileage end?

More air is always better, but the TRD seems to be the only intake that is completely sealed and draws air from the stock fender inlet. My concern would be an open system could jeopardize the stock 27+ inches of drivable water depth. Sucking up water and mud is bad news!
