I just bought an 08 silver 2WD from Gilroy Toyota in CAL. Basic setup with convenience package, locking dif, mats. MSRP: 25,609 I paid $22988 plus tax,lic. The FJ had a windshied sticker price that included the 07 $2K rebate, by mistake, so we worked out a deal. I've yet to get less than 20 MPG with mixed driving. Very cool.
