I also have the Toyota hitch. Was easy to install. It comes with the cut-out panel. It works great. I've towed many trailers with it already, one was a car trailer with a truck on it. Easily maxed out the capacity, and it towed great!
Beware of some of the hitches installed by dealers. Many of them are not factory Toyota parts. If it has a bar going across and the hitch attached to it, that is the cheaper aftermarket stuff. If it mounts directly under the bumper and has the cut-out, you have the factory piece.
