The TJ was in production for ten years, so that's a lot of time to sell Jeeps and make parts. I doubt that the FJ will ever have the parts availability that the Jeep has, but if it stays in production long enough it will get better.
It seems that most folks are using the little remote mount (all controls in the mike) CB's these days. Ron

I really think that my biggest complaint is the lack of after market parts and accessories for the FJC when you compare with Jeep parts. As well as the fact that they have this huge head unit in the dash that works fine but could have been better with a factory CB and smaller head unit in the same area.
Perhaps I will just switch out the factory radio for a smaller head unit and a nice CB. At least it will be out of the way, can mount the mike on the same area of the dash. I don't know, anyone done this yet?
