Very good Points...
I can tell you that I wish Mine did have a sunroof or something to take away from that Submarine Feel. I agree with you on many points. The Information you gathered is very helpful and useful. I guess I was basing my comments off of past experiences with Toyota, and seeing how things do not change as often as they would with like the Ford Explorer. Hopefully for everyones sake, the new options and such on the 2008 models will be pleasing to a lot of people. I have read many forums that talk about all these new colors for the new models, and I guess that just all sounded like pure speculation. (Especially the diesel engine comments). I just hope for my own sake that Toyota doesnt come out with all of these awsome options that come on the 08 models.(Some standard some not). I will have wished I waited 6 more months to get mine . When it all comes down to it, I have been lucky enough as all of you to get such an awsome truck. I beleive August or Semptember is when Ordering will start for the FJs (For fleet anyways). Does anyone have the Specific date?

Thanks for the reply,but:#1) was not trying to cause any speculation, nor gossip,and,#2,yes,I have done my homework, and a lot of it on this amazing vehicle, and was making a very serious inquiery about the 2008 model!
Did not realise I needed such a responce, but,do realise have been working for an auto dealership for a number of years, and am 100% proud of what Toyota has done with this vehicle!!!

If Toyota is selling everything it makes in the FJ cruiser line, why change? If I check my paper, there are no used FJs for sale, the dealers in the area usually don't have anything on the lot, and many people are still asking "What is that? I like it". I may be wrong, but Toyota already has a deluxe FJ with all the bells and whistles, it's called the 4 runner, and it is $10K more and very profitable for Toyota. Why should they lose sight of what the FJ is supposed to be and make another 4 Runner?
