We had our first snowfall in Calgary, Alberta a couple of days ago. City roads were covered and fj handled great. In 2wd the traction control held its own. Its actually pretty difficult to break loose the back end with the traction control. The beeping when the ATrac engages is kind of anoying though. In 4wd it handles the corners like the roads were dry. Ice is a bit of a different story. The stock allseasons get pretty hard and don't grip that well on ice. Unless you'll be on ice quite a bit the stock tires are fine for winter driving.
