Could anyone who has done a bumper/winch mod post their experience. Good and bad of what they did. Like the need for a stiffer front spring with the added weight of a steel construction bumper. There are several FJ bumpers available and I'm trying to narrow down the search.
Another topic. I like the *look* of the chrome tail light protectors, but correct me if I'm wrong. Isn't it less expensive to replace a lens? Those covers will do body damage and and ruin the area the lens sits in. I'm talking about a slow backup/blind spot hit as opposed to a full out collision. Any thoughts on that?
