I recommend the Yokohama Geolander AT+II. I had BFG’s on a Z71 I had. They were good tires but the cost was a little much. I shopped around and tried a Pirelli Scorpion AT’s. They had awesome grip but I soon found out why when they only lasted 18,000 miles. I then switched to the Yokohama. They have awesome grip, they look good, and they lasted 42,000 miles and I am no Sunday driver. I do agree that the BFG’s are good tires but the Yokohama’s can be around $50 cheaper depending on dealer and size. I also recommend Discount Tire. I recently ran over a chunk of metal on IH-35 that I could not dodge. Because I had the warrantee, I only paid 18 dollars for the new tire(Warrantee for the new tire).
