Some of you may have remembered my old dog - I know Scott does. Well, he passed away this summer and we were going to wait until spring before we got a new one. That is until Mrs. Robotchef went on the internet and found a rescue society that brings dogs North - out of Southern kill shelters. He just happened to have the same name and was born around the same time our last "Jake" died. - NOW that's KARMA! - Well, he loves the FJ... doesn't want to wait to go for a ride - barks at me to open the door!

Now that's one smart dog!

We bought our FJ to haul our three dogs. Two big ones. Our dog died a week after it arrived. I was putting off getting a new pup but after seeing this pic.. I might me looking sooner than later.

I have two Jack Russells that have totally trained my wife and I. They own the house and allow us to live there. In the FJ on a ride, it's BOING, BOING, BOING all the way. They love to ride in our lap but man....that dog hair is a beotch to get out of the seats. We resolved this by covering the rear seat with an old sheet and using a folding baby gate behind the front seats. We are now protected from our herd of Jack Russells!!!

You can always tell a real pet lover when they refer to them as owning you, and training you, and allowing you to live in the house.
I'm more of a cat person, myself. I have 2 cats. One of them used to really like going for rides, untill that one time to the vet....*snip*
Now they just ride their bike....
