Friends...can someone give me the definitive answer to this question? I have found so many posts on various sites and I'm still not clear.
How tall is my stock FJ with the Roof Rack?
My new parking garage says their clearance is 6'4" but it looks damn low and I'm afraid to drive in.

hello well its good you asked I measured mine w/roof rack and got 6'5" hope this helps.

Mine's pushing 7 feet. But I guess that doesn't help you. I've heard others say that the radio antenna is an inch or two taller than the truck. So if your antenna hits, you are in trouble.

I just parked my FJ in a parking structure with a 6'8" clearance bar hanging from chains at the entrance to the structure. The bar was bowed downward slightly (maybe an inch or so) - my roof rack just barely nudged the base of the hanging clearance bar and I was able to squeeze under it with no damage or obvious rub marks. I am guesssing my FJ w/ roof rack and the stock Bridgestone Dueller tires comes in at about 6'7" or just slightly under - I wouldn't try to get in a 6'4" garage.

Rule of thumb, if the antenna hits, the rack will too.
