33's are probably the biggest size you want to run without doing major trimmimg and gear changes. I have never seen an FJ (with the acception of a solid axle FJ that is running 37's. Even if you wheel alot 33's are probably the best choice. Not as hard on the rest of your components, i.e cv joints, diffs, bearings steering etc. If you don't lift you will most likely need to do the front body mount chop if you want to do 33's. Lifting is recommended for 33's

I was thinking a 3" lift with 33's would look pretty good.
Any comment on those "spacer" kits? Like this one:

with spacers and offroading you weill break cv joints.....so if you ever want todo any on that dont get the spacers...personally i would get the old man emu kit
