Ok, I just happened to be wandering through my local hardware store. I found a couple different 5 gallon fuel cans with spouts, they were plastic and on clearance for $4.50. My question is this, what reason(s) is there for using the metal jerry cans over the plastic cans. They both would strap to the rack on my FJ. Is there a reason to pay 40-60 dollars for a metal one?
