On this site, I previously posted two related "problem" articles. The first was titled "Misfiring, vibration, etc." and the second was posing the question " Any FJ owner having BIG problems?"
Yesterday Toyota exchanged my problematic FJ with a brand new one. I did all of the correspondence myself and never had to hire an attorney. Thanks for all the input or lack of input which told me that my former FJ was a RARE bad egg. It should be good information for you all that Toyota is a company that stands behind their product and it's warranty.
I'm BACK on the road in a shiney new Titanium FJ.....OBX here I come...

I'm glad to hear your FJ was replaced. That says a great deal about Toyota.
I've had mine for over a month now and no issues whatsoever. I live in Winnipeg. Everyone here should own one!
