I am 6 foot tall, and, I have found that I need to sit high in the FJ to have a good driving view. But, if I am first in line at a traffic light I can not see the lights. Looking at putting a mirror on top of the drivers glove box or maybe a prism; anyone else have the same problem or solution?

I have the same problem. I avoid getting too close or, lean forward and hope I don't get rear ended leaning like that.
The glove box idea is a good one. What about "peep mirrors"?

I just found a traffic light viewer that sticks to the windshield. PM me for a link.

I think you are refering to the Vinyl clear; lightinsight, fresnel lens. I may have to throw money at that and try it, looks big for an FJ. I took a piece of thin aluminium stock and bent it to conform to the dash, set up two mirrors, got them aligned and they are adjustable, worked great in the yard with a cedar tree, but failed on the road; too small, too many variables on the road. The camera alternative; big bucks, may be the only way to go.

I have noticed the low windshield height, I guess I just got used to it.
