I found the clips, but another guy on another forum said something about "nothing to screw them into. here's what he followed up with. I haven't yet looked at mine..

Just to follow up, I found 2 little black plastic nuts that push down into the opening. They were in my glove box. After installing these all you have to do is screw the mat brackets into the nuts and your all set. You should have gotten these as well. Mine were loose and I found them in the glove box seperate from the 2 anchor brackets.

The noise is more like a resonance (roar) that sort-of comes and goes. One guy told me that he had something similar and it turned out to just be the sound of the exhaust. I'll check it out better this weekend.. Ron

Make sure you find the floor mat clips(glovebox) from toyota, they hold the front mats in place very well, the back mats do move around alot. Yeah, my wife is short too, but now that we're pregnant, she finds the FJ easier to get into with a belly than a car, go figure. No Clunks here, make sure the jack is tightened in its place, check for unteathered wrenches back there.
