Can anyone recommend a good ski/snowboard and surf rack set up: Thule, Yakima, or another brand?

I just traded in a Silverado so I'm used to throwing toys and gear in the bed. I do have the FJ factory rack.

New FJ owner and new to this great site so I apoligize if a thread exists that I can't find.

Thanks in advance for the advice,

I'm a fan of Thule roof rack systems. I work in a bike shop and ski shop and have not had problems with them. The ski/snowboard rack will mount directly to the factory cross bars. the other option would be Yakima rack systems. enjoy

Allprooffroad makes a pretty cool roof rack. You can buy the whole thing, or just sections.Check them out.

Thanks, that's good information. I went into a local big box sporting good chain and they insisted I would need to buy the Thule or Yakima cross bars despite the FJ factory rack's cross bar system.
