I notice people removing the flares. It looks good but can't imagine the paint likes it? Has anyone here done this? Problems with cops and tires sticking out?

You are just asking for problems with rock chips. And most areas require the tire to be completely covered. I run 37's with only 3" lift, and I don't rub on the flairs, so clearance isn't an issue.

I wasn't worried about clearance. Just liked the look. I guess a couple of dirt roads would kill the paint.

I don't know about "killing" the paint, but it sure would beat it up!

Beat up paint might be a good thing? It would give me an excuse to paint the truck and not have the wife kill me."Honestly honey, I don't know what happened?"
