4x2 4x4....

I went back to the dealership to drool a little bit more on the black 4x4, but they sold it. Then I was looking at the Yellow one, because yellow is my new favorite (for my intentions it is much better), but it is a 4x2.

Offroading, I know a 4x2 is not as good as a 4x4, how much of a difference is it though? Will I survive? Mudding, travelling mountains, not any serious trails. I assume the hp is not decreased, but is distribution of power affected negatively?

Should I say no to a 4x2 and stick it out for a 4x4?

Finally, I intend on a supercharger for my FJ. Whether I do it or not may or may not happen, but it is something I'm weighing. With a SC in mind, should I absolutely wait for a 4x4? Or will a 4x2 be just fine?

Thank you for any input!

buying the 4x2 fj supports the idea of them to keep making them...get the 4x4 auto (part time 4x4).
