Windshield cracks are common with the FJ. Replacement is expensive even with an insurance deductible. What I have found is this; Call your insurance company and ask for 100 percent Comprehensive coverage. It ended up costing me a few dollars but I can now get a free windshield when I need one. Make the insurance change before reporting damage though.
