Not stupid. Its a great truck. The sound system is excellent, and it rides better than my 2006 4Runner. Most of the package is stuff I would have added in time anyway. Except, do not get the nav system - its cheesy. Wished I'd waited and just bought the Lowrance Baja 540c. Not sure where I'd mount it but that unit is top notch. Just my opinion.

I am probably going to buy it on my company as a corporate sponsered vehicle.
For this special team edition do I just visit my dealer and ask them for it?
Does it take long for them to get it in?
I see a couple on Ebay from dealers around $32k-$35k.
I'm guessing I will not be able to haggle the price down much from my dealer since it's more of a special order, right?

Definetly not stupid for wanting one, i actually bought my wife the first one our dealership got in. As for some dealer telling someone in a previous post there were only going to be 40k total FJS built they just flat out lied. I love the dealership i work at, i guess we are in such a small area, if we lied to people like that we would never get anymore busines LOL

I think the SEs are only released once or twice a year. Most dealers already got their 08 allotment. The dealer in my town only got one of the all black SEs last year, and this year they only got two.
I would say, call around and see if any dealers near you have one that hasn't been sold.
My dealer would not bargain at all. They knew what they had and they knew they could get full price. It is a unique vehicle.
The Ebay price of $32-35 seems right. Problem is, then you have to pay to get it to your house.
