I am looking at getting a set of tail light guards for my FJ. Does anyone recommend a certain brand that they are satisfied with? I am looking at some beefy guards by Manik but would love suggestions. Thanks!

If you are buying them for looks, ok. But keep in mind...anything that is strong enough to break the lense, will also break the guard. But the guard will take the body panel with it. Things like that are known as damage multipliers. Sorta like the vast majority of "bush bars" you see on the mall crawlers.

Maybe something inbetween with a low profile? Mine has a lot of Nevada pinstrip and I put off getting steel type because I figured it would wedge sage between the lense and cause real damage. http://www.ocparts.com/puts-400852.html
