I have a 6 Speed FJ and a couple months ago I was trying to see how fast I could launch 0-60mph (I have a really long driveway). When I shifted to second I released the clutch pretty fast and the pedal took a second to pop up...This really baffled me...I later tried just playing with the clutch in neutral while parked and noticed that whenever I pull my foot off the clutch pedal really fast it stays floored and then pops up a second later.
I was curious if anyone else has experienced this and if anyone knew the reason why this happens?

I haven't noticed it with mine, but I have heard some people say their clutch gets sticky in the cold.

I haven't had any problems with it in the cold...I drove it all winter here in PA with no problems...This just happened during this one run and would never happen during regular driving.
Someone else with a stick shift should give it a try...Turn your truck on...put it in neutral then just push the clutch in all the way and take your foot off as fast as you can. Let me know if it sticks like mine.

I tried it. I notice it's kinda slow in coming up, but I wouldn't say it sticks.
