The only fun thing in California that is legal is Marijuana...but only if you have a prescription. I tell you: it's hard living out here and my migraines are acting up again....

You know, I think the Flowmaster may yield better HP results since they are pretty much the masters of exhaust flow...but I also think that the Flowmaster install will possess a higher degree of difficulty than the "bolt-on" TRD exhaust.

I don't think we'll have much to work with as far as info is concerned until people start buying these types of aftermarket goodies. And with the very, very small amount of FJ's out there (I live in So. Cal. and I have seen less than ten in the month and 1/2 that I've had mine) I'm sure it will be a while until we see some genuinely cool stuff.

I have a much simpler soultion than that...
Drive down to performance muffler, tell them I want something to increase hp and add some pretty growl. Ask them how much - they tell me - I say I will be back after lunch to pick it up. Write a check

See how much easier that is
LOL

But then you don't have the pride in knowing that YOU built, and modified your Toy.

Replying to your question about your "performance" chip. This thread has the answers.

Thanks Ryan.
I think the TRd will yeild more top end hp, but the flowmaster has slightly more back preassure, giving more bottom end torque. Check the gallery for pics of my diy install.
