Lifting a truck does not change undercariage height. Bigger tires do. To get "3 of whole truck lift you will need to get a "6 bigger tire.

Carl,
The only reason I would lift the FJC is to put larger tires on it, I would like to go with 37" but will likely go with 35" tires and the lift needed to go along with it. I also want to add the heavy steel front and swing arm rear bumpers that will require the lift as well as heavy duty suspension parts to help carry the load. But at that point I will also not be worried about fuel mileage either.
