I am looking at installing the Essex KE1601 Keyless Entry keypad.
1) The door lock switches are negative switches that go back to a controler. Is there a way to use the 250mA signal from the unit to activate the switch wires?

2) Will the 250mA output of the pad activate the door lock / unlock if I go directly to the lock/unlock motors?

3)I found another web site that indicates the polarity is 5wi. This should probably mean something special but I don't know what that means. Can you help?

P2 of the following link has Install Guide wire identification for KE1601.
