Hello everyone is there anyone who could help me with this issue... i lifted my fj 6 inches and put 35 x 13.5 tires running on 20 x 10 inches rims... the car looks great but i noticed that the car is a bit slower. Does anyone knows wich is the original ratio of the Fj Cruiser (automatic) and wich ratio should use with rings and pinions to compensate engine power and fuel economy? Please help me with this.. thanks

The auto comes with 3.73's. The 6 speed manual comes with 3.90's. If you want lower gears to compensate for your larger tires, you will need a new carrier if you own the auto, as there is a carrier break.
You have a few options.

1. You can get stock 6 speed manual carrier for the front, (I think you can just re-gear the back with the same carrier) and even use their 3.90 gears, or add 4.10, or 4.56's.

2. You can buy a Detroit locker for the front,(which is it's own carrier) then add your lower gears to that.

I'd guess 4.10's would be a good fit for an auto with 35" tires. I'll be running 4.56's with 37" tires and the 6 speed.
