12 volt accessory plug

Need to make the 12 volt accessory plug stay on all the time so I can charge my phone, or what ever with out having to turn the key on. They need to do this on all thier cars. Also need to put more than one plug in the FJ's, HOW MUCH COULD THAT COST?

I agree about the multiple 12v sockets. Most new trucks have several up front.

I just had a brain fart, what if they had a switch on the 12v socket so you could select "on all the time" or "on with key"

I wonder if it's too late to patent that? lol

That is one of those ideas that I like. I'd also like the overhead interior lights to be switched from the unused switch panel. Maybe we can get a "Switch Suggestion" topic going?

I think they designed the overhead that way so you stretch to turn it on/off and drive off the road?
