There's always a possibility with radio devices that they will interfere with stuff, but highly unlikely. Just don't mount it near the computer, and you should be fine.

I think it's by the passenger kick panel. Not 100% sure, but that's usually where it is. Or under the dash...

Just to ease my mind....does anyone think adding a linuar with the CB be alright? I'm not talking FCC alright, I'm talking electrical interferance alright.

If you are talking an amplifier, I think it's illegal to go over 5 watts. Most CB's are about 3 watts. I have seen amplifiers for about 1000 watts for a few hundred bux, but they are never "displayed".

OK....
if you want a great CB set up for your FJ go to Walcottcb.com and type BIG BILL in the search box. There you will see what you need for a perfect set up complete with all the hardware and mounting goods.

I have this in my FJ with the exception of the CB in the package and it works awesome!
