i thought the diamond plate was a cover that sticks on....if so you could remove it and use goo gone to get rid of the stickum left over...it should be color matching underneath if this is true

I thought it was a stick on too with just double sided tape holding it on! I wish they made real diamond plate consol covers, i think that would look tough, but i agree with you, the fake stuff looks stupid! Good luck!
